Cuba is divided in 14 provinces and one Special Municipality of Isla de
Juventud. You can search this site by province. Before the Cuban
Revolution Cuba was divided into less provinces. The province Oriente
included the present provinces of Guantanamo, Santiago de Cuba, Granma,
Holguin and Las Tunas. The Las Villas Province included Sancti Spiritus,
Cienfuegos and Villa Clara. It's good to remember, because many museums
and older papers still refer to the old provinces.
