Santa Clara / Museo Historico de la Revolucion

At the backside of the Statue of Che Guevara at the Plaza de la Revolucion you can find the "Museo Historico de la Revolucion" In the museum different stages of the life of Che Guevara are covered, including his childhood, adolescence and youth. The Museum was projected by Architect Blanca Hernández Guivernau.
  

Among the most important of Che's personal belongings on exhibit in the museum are: a pistol holster, a grenade belt, a wristwatch, a pipe, a uniform, a tube for mate, a beret and jacket, the title granting him Cuban nationality, paper money signed by him as president of the Banco Nacional de Cuba, the telephone used by him during the Las Villas Campaign, the jacket he is wearing in the universally famous photo by Alberto Korda, the binoculars and the saddle he used in the Congo, his photographic camera, his radio and the case of needles with which he injected himself  during attacks of asthma.
